Benefits of Groups

With growing waitlist in allied health disciplines, group therapy is an effective way for providing therapy to clients of all ages, to help meet their therapeutic goals. In addition to this, Group therapy can be a great opportunity for clients to consolidate and practise any skills learnt and rejuvenate for future additional individual therapy.

Group therapy is cost effective and can often help clients to stretch their relative therapy budget to last much longer and address more therapeutic areas. It can often be combined with individual therapy to offer a more wholistic approach to addressing therapeutic goals.

Group therapy can provide an environment where clients can interact with peers who face similar challenges or have similar interests. Friendships and positive relations are often built-in group therapy and then continued outside of the clinic.

At Psylutions Group we want to provide a range of group therapy services to not only assist those who are placed on a waiting list for individua therapy, but also offer variety in our therapeutic approach. We aim to provide a range of group therapy options for all ages and abilities, and to push the boundaries of ‘traditional’ therapy approaches.
