The Prep For Prep group aims to teach children the main concepts they are expected to master in Prep and build foundations to help start school with confidence. The group covers story retell/sequencing skills, pencil coordination, letters, numbers, colours, and plenty more. The group is designed for children who are approaching Prep and would benefit from some extra guidance.
Way to Write is designed for children who are already able to recognise and form the letters of the alphabet, however are having some difficulty with appropriate use of lines, pressure, spacing, legibility and fine motor skills. The program will focus on developing these skills, as well as one's awareness of their body in space, and how this influences their ability to engage in this activity.
